Merrion Kitchens
This scheme was all about the overmantle, a stunning, yet subtle focal point for this space. Working closely with the client and their architect, every detail of this main run was carefully considered, so that the cooking zone and overmantle unify beautifully with the tall larder on one side, and hidden walk-through doors on the other. This is balanced by the island, a more grounded, standalone piece, framed with solid handcrafted pillars.
The scheme features no shortage of the high-end luxuries you can expect from your Shalford Interiors kitchen. The antique mirror backsplash framed in timber sits between storage nooks set into the mantle pillars.
The kitchen also features handmade cutlery inserts, a pull-out for easy access to oils, herbs and spices and hidden doors through to a simple yet beautiful bootroom. We don’t like to play favourites, but this is one of our favourites!
